The number in parentheses is strength of schedule?

Yes. Based on ColleyRankings (link on the right). Two caveats about the SOS: (1) Colley uses a grouping system for games against 1-AA teams that I don't fully understand; (2) I think he's off by 1 number for every single team (see how Stanford's SOS is actually zero).
